Leaving a Gift in Your Will

Anyone can leave a gift in their will or in memory of a loved one to the International Festival. Whatever the size of the gift, your support can help secure the future of the Festival for generations to come.

There are a number of ways you can remember the International Festival in your will: for example a gift of a specific sum, a percentage of your estate, or a gift of shares.

We also accept gifts into the Edinburgh International Festival Endowment Fund.

The Edinburgh International Festival Endowment Fund is a significant funding source for the Festival and contributions to the Fund help secure the Festival's future for years to come.

The Endowment Fund was set up in 1989 with the vision to create a stable and long-term source of funding for the Festival. The Fund, governed by an independent board of trustees, supports the Edinburgh International Festival with grants that have enabled the Festival to programme special initiatives and exceptional projects fundamental to maintaining the Festival's unique character.

We strongly recommend you discuss your legacy plans with your family first and seek the advice of a solicitor. You can create or update your will with any practicing solicitor, and to make a gift to the International Festival all you need are the following details:

Edinburgh International Festival
The Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh, EH1 2NE
Registered charity number: SC004694
